Bio Tower

Bio-tower is non- submerged attached growth process equipment used for secondary treatment. It is a fixed film biological reactor using plastic packing over which waste water is distributed continuously. Purification of water occurs as the liquid flows over the attached bio-films. The principal advantages of this aerobic attached growth process over the activated sludge process are the following:

Less energy requirement
Simple operations with no issues of mixed liquor elementary control and sludge wasting.
No problem for bulking sludge in secondary clarifier.
