Pressure Sand Filters
Pressure Sand Filters offered by us is used for the final polishing of treated effluents by removing suspended solids and turbidity. It removes suspended particles up-to 20 to 30 microns. These filters are also used for water treatment. Our Pressure Sand Filter is a made of Mild Steel with protective coating and it comprises of a vertical cylindrical pressure vessel with dished ends, frontal pipe & valves, filling media like graded sand supported by layers of graded pebbles, a top distributor to distribute the incoming water uniformly throughout the cross section of the filter, and an under drain system to collect filtered water. Back wash arrangement is also provided for removing the fine particles retained on the surface of the sand bed and between the sand grains.
